Oven won't heat or heats weakly
Symptoms to look for
- Oven takes a long time to reach set temperature
- Actual temperature far below the setting
- Either the top or bottom element is dead
- Food only cooks on one side
Likely causes
- Heating element fully or partially burnt out
- Faulty thermostat cutting heat too early
- Temperature sensor giving inaccurate readings
- Internal electrical-wiring fault
How we fix it
We measure the heating element with a resistance meter, test the thermostat and sensor across multiple temperatures, then replace the failed part with a genuine one and run a full validation at 150/200/250 °C.
